Booking Moving Service

  1. Do you charge for providing cost estimate and how much?

It’s free.  We do not charge any fee for providing cost estimate and the customer is not under any obligation to choose our moving services.

  1. How soon can I schedule the move dates?

We offer reasonable flexibility to our customers in scheduling final moving dates.  You can book our house moving service one month in advance up to 1 day prior to moving.  Ideally though, we prefer that our customers book our moving services at least 3 weeks prior to the final moving day.

  1. Can I reschedule my move and will it cost me extra?

You can reschedule your move at no extra cost. We request you to inform us at least 3 day in advance so that we can relocate our staff and also make the arrangements for your final moving day.

  1. Do you charge extra for moves planned on weekends?

No. Our rates are the same for weekends and weekdays. Since a large number of people prefer moving on weekends, we request you to book us at the earliest so that we can accommodate your move request on weekends.

  1. How long does it take to move?

It depends on several factors like weather conditions, size and weight of the load, time required to load and unload, and distance that needs to be covered.

Preparing for the move

  1. Is packaging service bundled with house moving quote?

No.  If you need full packing and unpacking services, you need to ask for a separate packaging quote.  Our packing service includes experienced house packers who will reduce the stress and load of packing your things. We also provide cartons of different sizes and labeling material to make your house moving more organized.

  1. Will your staff also help in unpacking upon reaching the destination?

If you have paid for the packaging service, our staff will also help in unpacking. Our staff will unpack the items from cartons and place them as directed by you.

  1. What is the size of your vehicles?

Our company owns a large fleet of trucks and other cargo movers of different sizes and load carrying capacity. Depending on the size and weight of your load, our load moving experts will book the right sized truck for your move. Most trucks in our fleet are 50 cubic meters. We also have smaller vehicles for smaller house moves.

  1. Can you move our pets to our new house?

No, we do not transport pets. Ideally the pets travel best in car.

During the Move

  1. Is it mandatory to remain present on the pickup day?

Yes. We would request your presence on the pickup day to identify which items are going, which items are staying and which items needs special care. Most importantly you need to be present to check the inventory during loading and unloading.

  1. Do you take extra care to protect furniture?

Our experienced removalist will professionally pack your furniture in thick blankets to protect it from scratches in storage or transit. Don’t worry, your furniture is in safe hands and we will give the extra care it needs.

  1. My new home has stairs, will it be a problem?

No. Our experienced staff can move your furniture and other items safely through the staircases. Our moving team can move your furniture and items anywhere in the new house without any problem.

  1. What is your preferred payment method?

We accept payment in cash and through credit cards. For any other payment arrangement, you need to contact our head office and get prior approval before the final moving day.

  1. How do you measure quality of your services?

We offer a feedback form to our customers after completion of moving services.  The survey is conducted and the results are tabulated by third-party. We share our customers’ feedback with our partner companies on an ongoing basis and work on areas of improvement as suggested by our customers.
